This year is the 25th anniversary of Police, the Italian eyewear industry’s top brand, and it has confirmed its feisty and alluring spirit by sponsoring Italian rock star Piero Pelù for the release of his new album, "Fenomeni", and for his summer tour to major Italian cities from June 28 through September.
The model chosen by Piero Pelù fully expresses Police’s energetic and aggressive character and immediately conveys the brand’s strength and decisiveness: model S8099 is part of the STREET collection in which discreet structures meet forked temples, repeated gothic Ps and fashionable combinations that are refined and never overpowering.
Piero Pelù wears Police eyewear in the video for his first single, "Tutti i fenomeni", which was released ahead of the album and immediately went to third place in the best-selling album classification: the performer and his musicians will also wear Police eyewear during peak moments of the “Fenomeni Tour”.
The Police brand is part of the DeRigo Vision group. Chief Executive Michele Aracri commented: “We decided to approach the performer from Tuscany because he is the perfect Police personality. In his music and performances, Pelù also gives his fans highly emotional moments, exactly what we intend to give consumers when they wear glasses from our collection”.
