Marc Jacobs presents new collection

With its flavor of the Eighties, the new Marc Jacobs eyewear collection includes sunglasses and vision frames that will be noted as the new icons of a glamorous style.

The new sun proposals represent a decisive mood. Model MJ 234/s is a sought-after mix of different materials, such as multi-layer acetate and wood, with appealing, highly effective colors like plum-air-force blue, plum-coral, dark green-yellow and black-Havana that highlight the Marc Jacobs logo in separate metal letters.

Eyes become super-sophisticated with seductive silhouettes in intertwined metal wire shaped like a butterfly. In elegant colors like palladium and gold with brown or smoke gray lenses.

A refined Sixties style for the sunglasses in Optyl and the pilot models in metal. Temples are enhanced by art deco-inspired mother-of-pearl-effect decorations, like certain Marc Jacobs jewelry, and by graver-striped metal inserts that stand out in dark Havana, smoke, brown crystal and shiny black.

Alluring metal sunglasses and acetate models with Eighties-inspired geometrical lines and colored enamel inserts in bright colors or emphasized by original stripes.

The vision collection highlights fine metal frames with angular shapes and delicate colors. Silhouettes are in tri-acetate with original geometrical temples decorated with smooth metal details or animated by pleasant color contrasts.

Completing the collection are rectangular metal frames like model MJ 227, with the logo underlined in metal, and retro-chic-inspired models such as MJ 224 with the logo-tag standing out on the temples in bright colors like yellow-Havana, red stripes, mandarin stripes and black.
